Workshop on “Digital Security”

Activists, journalists, and workers in the human rights and humanitarian fields are increasingly using computers and the Internet in their work. Consequently, surveillance and the insecurity of stored or exchanged digital information have become significant issues for them.

The Siaq Organization for Youth and Development (SOYD) conducted a workshop on digital security to help 15 women better understand the technology they use and the significant risks associated with documenting, storing, and sharing their personal information.
