Special – Taiz
On Thursday, 4/23/2020 AD, the Volunteering Unit team of the Siaq Organization for Youth and Development concluded the field survey for the “Project to shed light on the problem of the health capacity crisis in the city of Taiz”; To assess health needs and capabilities to confront epidemics, including the Corona pandemic.
The field survey was conducted in several hospitals and health centers in each of the (Sala – Cairo – Al-Muzaffar) Directorates.For a period of four days, which included meetings with directors of the targeted hospitals and their assessment of the current health situation, this came in coordination with the Public Health and Population Office, the Social Affairs and Labor Office, and under the supervision of the management of the Siaq Organization for Youth and Development according to a chronic field plan, out of a sense of social responsibility in general and health responsibility. It is worth mentioning that the field survey process was preceded by a workshop held by the organization for the volunteer unit and its staff, as this project came within the goals of the Siaq Organization for Youth and Development in the health sector as one of the sustainable development goals that the organization is working on.
