In conjunction with the back-to-school campaign and in an effort to achieve equal and comprehensive education, Siaq Organization launched today, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, and with funding from the Swedish International Rehabilitation Center, the “Improving the Educational Process for People with Motor Disabilities” project, which included:
Rehabilitation of the school’s multi-activity room
Specifically to meet the needs of enhancing students’ abilities and encouraging them to participate in school activities
In addition to installing a solar system with the aim of providing a sustainable source of energy and providing the electricity necessary to operate the school’s computer lab, the school will be increased with the necessary lighting, as well as the rehabilitation of a special corridor with the aim of facilitating easy access to and from the classrooms.The inauguration was attended by Mr. Ahmed Al-Wajeeh, Director of the Comprehensive Education Department in the Office of Education, Abbas Al-Basha, President of the Association for the Disabled, Adel Dahhan, President of the Basma Hayat Foundation for People with Special Needs, in addition to Ms. Amani Al-Joubani, President of the organization.
